The Untold Story of Women in Afghanistan at AU
Tabla For Two played at the Afghan women’s rights panel hosted by the Afghan Rug Project at American University. The Afghan Rug project brings families in the United States and Afghanistan together through the gift and spirit of exchange.
The White House Nowruz Celebration!
The music of Tabla for Two facilitated our being invited to the White House to celebrate Nowruz. It was a beautiful, lavish, generous party. And it just happened to be Masood’s birthday! What a celebration – what an honor! Nowruz meaning “new day”, is the Persian New Year.
