Tabla for Two greeted the new moon with a Full Moon Concert on Friday 13th of June, 2014 in Washington, DC.

The full moon energy was apparent when the 65 people in attendance hooted and howled with appreciation. The energy in the room matched the energy from the new moon. It was a beautiful magical evening. The hostess served a complete Indian dinner that compliment the music.

Tabla for Two Played to the Afghan Community

Tabla for Two was honored to play before an attentive and appreciative Afghan community at the television station studio of Dr. Nadir Atash, Roshna TV, in Sterling, Virginia on Friday evening April 25.

There were 50-60 men and women in attendance. The Afghan women came up to Abigail after the performance, hugging her and thanking her deeply for helping to keep the tradition of their music alive. They told her how moving it was to see an American woman commit to learning and playing their music. The men also voiced their deep appreciation. It was the first time that Tabla for Two played before that community.
